Scotland
I had the privilege of experiencing a Scotland that was made up of ideal fall days. Crisp and cool with the warm sun making it perfect for a sweater, a cup of tea, and exploring. I don't know why I love fall weather so much, but I do. We were in Scotland so we could watch my brother play in a tournament, but we managed to enjoy the surroundings while we were there.
Breakfasts in Scotland tend to have a lot of meat in them, and I wasn't in the mood so I had a scone.
These two photos are from the castle that I went to go see in between two soccer games. This was where Mary Queen of Scotts lived at the beginning of here life. Although it was cool to be there, most of the rooms were so recreated that it didn't feel as real as I wanted it to. The views were great though.
An caramel ice cream with a Flake bar in it (a flakey chocolate stick) that was delish, and apparently a Scottish classic.
Sounds like you had a lovely time there, I love your photos!

Thank you! I am gonna pull together some pictures from Paris soon too, I didn't want it to become a crazy long post.
DeleteI love your blog btw, and am so jealous of your green pinafore!
xx
Wooo I'm so happy you liked Scotland! I'm leaving soon so I've found myself becoming oddly patriotic instead of constantly moaning about the weather. Can't wait to see photos of Paris!

Oh also! Did you try haggis? For being made of sheep lung/heart/soul it's pretty dreamy. It was banned in the US in 1971!?
DeleteI didn't get to try it! I did try white pudding though, and it was soo good!
